The United States government trusts nobody and thats why their NSA (National Security Agency) has been using a system, since 2007, called 'PRISM' to spy on your internet activities; through the likes of FACEBOOK etc. Luckily, for us that is, one of their own - NSA contractor Edward Snowden - leaked what they were up to and warned us that the extent of mass data collection was far greater than the public knew and included what he characterized as "DANGEROUS" and "CRIMINAL" activities.
